Reviews
My expectations for the staff weren't high from the get-go, having read the comments beforehand. It was my mistake to think it wasn't a big deal. It kicks off with no one being able to handle English well for basic tasks. Combine that with incompetence and unfriendliness, and it becomes a real headache.
The place has potential, but the rooms are basic and not well maintained, and breakfast is nothing to write home about. I can only give it one star for a couple of reasons:
Firstly, the price swings wildly – we shelled out €248.63 per night for two in mid-October. Anything over 100€ is a rip-off, even in peak season.
Secondly, I learned the hard way that relying on competent staff in other countries is crucial. A fellow hotel guest smacked our car without a word. Since we checked out before him, I asked the front desk to sort things out. They promised the Executive Assistant would handle it and get back to us. Well, it's been a while, and we're still waiting for that call.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Good weather and enjoyed the break in spite of being in the area for hospital visiting. Would come back.
First class welcome..ideal position..room had a bit of dust on skirting board. Otherwise comfy bed
.nice linen.
Breakfast great..fresh clean and a great selection. Coffee of good quality..actually recommended to other guests to give it a try. Value tip top.
Also used the sun terrace..must say something needs to be done to the exit to the beach. Dangerous and uneven..helped two older ladies..would suggest immediate attention. Also one footbath not in use had rubbish and weeds..suggest clean or perhaps deck it.
Smelt of fish by border fencing .
Also used pool very friendly pool attendant chatted to everyone and made to feel welcome.
Thalassa used for a day five treatments..first class service..each tried their English on my sister who doesn't speak French..thank you ladies.
I didn't try restaurant as saw a previous review..not that flattering.
Will go again as local..special thanks to reception staff..spoke English and French gave full attention to each guest despite pressure of number of guests waiting
very good situated near the sea and calm
Excellent level of covid19 precautions. You see the staff cleaning all the time. Felt really safe during our stay. Soeaming of its staff: really polite and friendly. Hotel itself is nice. Restaurant offers vegetarian stuff (vegan even - but not much) and when asking politely slight adjustments can be made too.
Would go again.
This seaside Hotel retreat establishment offers calm and tranquillity , all the amenities of newly refurbished lobbies, restaurant lounges, veranda in the garden and a superior quality Beauty and spa institute with possibility to pamper with all kind of treatments and massages , and aquabike classes in heated saltwater swimming pool.
They offer professional and helpful assistance , lovely atmosphere and peaceful environment where to spend sweet moments of relaxation with your beloved ones.
worst and at the same time most expansive room Ive stayed on the southern coast. Beside the rust and black mildew in the bathroom, for 120 euro you get very poor flow in the shower, tiny window with no view at all and claustrophobic space. One of the most impressive parts is the attitude of the hotels staff. I felt like Adolf Hitler in a sinagogue (and I am not!).
Still there were good sides of the stay. The breakfast was pretty good, however we could stay in a better hotel and eat seafood in a restourant for that money twice.
Do not ever stay at this d
The rooms are basic, the restaurant is very good especially the for the price. The bar on the other hand is kind of bad, they don't come to your table to ask if you want something else and even when you go up to the bar yourself the drinks don't always get delivered..
